Venice Revealed
For the opening of the new Grand Palais Immersif space, I had the chance to work on the exhibition Venice Revealed, a collaboration between Iconem and the RMN. The calm of the confinement in Venice allowed me to digitize the island on stilts, in order to preserve a digital model of the city which is prey to rising waters due to global warming.
This exhibition is the result of several months of artistic experimentation and teamwork, with the aim of immersing the viewer in a digital city. The giant screens overlap to create a perfect triptych, where the image becomes one at a given point. This is possible by modifying the camera shift to exactly match the scenography.
